Bromo is easily accessed through Probolinggo. It may takes

that will take three hous drive from Bungurasih bus station in Surabaya to
Bayuangga bus station in Probolinggo. Then take a minibus that is called “ELF”
that will take you to Bromo. It needs around
half an hour to get to Bromo through the challenging road with breathtaking
views during the journey.
Bromo is famous for its awesome sunrise view. Fortunately,
you could enjoy the magnificent caldera, the sea of sand as well as the
stunning savana called “bukit teletubbies” that provides you an atmosphere like
being in Europe just south of the caldera. This massive landscape is covering
with greenery that seems contrast with the surrounding area called sea of sand.
It’s also wellknown for its spectacular sunrise view you
could see from the very peak named Penanjakan 1. This becomes a must for every
travellers coming to Bromo to take a jeep tour to get to Penanjakan where there
are lot of people come early morning to catch this spectacular sunrise view. So,
dont forget to bring the thick jacket as the tour will start at 03.00 AM.
